A Real American Hero
I am proud to say
that I was part of the NCOC graduating class 25-68 with sergeant Barney
Tharp who went on to Vietnam and honored our class with his bravery on the
battlefield. This is Barney's story, told by him, told straight from the
heart. I encourage you to read it , it is a moving account of a young man's
dedication to his men , his courage in the face of the enemy and provides a
great example of what leadership is all about. We thank you Barney for your
sacrifice and service. Click on the the individual story to read.
